mash-ups

These are some of my very recent mash-up works using my photos and illustrations from before. 

I used photos taken in Musaffah Abu Dhabi (an industrial area) and my drawings that I had from the earlier Arab and pairs series. 

I do not like to specifically explain what these images mean, since I believe in free association and that people can make up their own impressions and thoughts regarding pictures and drawing. However, if you do seek some explanation then I simply wanted to show contrast and beauty that grows from dirt and waste. 

I wished to portray waste and wasteful behaviour in the poor districts of the country built from black gold, as well as show the waste in terms of beauty (the covered women of Arabia).
